Karol Mikuli

Karol Mikuli (1819-1897) was a Polish pianist, composer, and music teacher, most renowned for his association with the Romantic movement in music. A student of the celebrated composer Frédéric Chopin, Mikuli played a significant role in promoting Chopin's works, especially through his own transcriptions and arrangements. Mikuli's genre primarily encompasses classical music, with a strong focus on piano compositions. One of his notable works is the collection "Études de la Méthode de Piano," which reflects his pedagogical approach and dedication to piano education. He also published a comprehensive edition of Chopin's works, contributing to the preservation and dissemination of Chopin's music.
